Charity Founder Named our Latest Local Hero
Mama Lana’s Community Foundation Founder, Lana Borg, has been named the 2025 Penrith Westfield Local Hero, recognising her dedication to supporting people experiencing hardship across our community.
The Westfield Local Heroes Program celebrates individuals creating meaningful local impact, with Lana awarded a $20,000 grant to help continue MLCF’s vital work. The funding arrives at an important time, helping offset the loss of a regular $40,000 grant and ensuring the foundation can continue providing meals and essential support services.
This recognition highlights the collective effort of volunteers, supporters and community partners who make Mama Lana’s mission possible every day.
