Who is Mama Lana’s? What do you do?

Mama Lana’s Community Foundation is a not-for-profit charity run entirely by volunteers. We provide free, hot, home-cooked meals to the community six nights a week.

Do you offer free meals?

Yes. We offer free hot meals to anyone who needs one — everyone is welcome.

Monday to Saturday
6:30pm – 8:00pm
Sundays: Closed

Are you open on public holidays?

Yes. We are open all public holidays, except Sundays, all year round.

Do you deliver meals?

No. Unfortunately, we do not offer delivery. Meals are served on site only.

How can I contact you?

As we are volunteer-run, the phone is often unattended due to service demands or closure times.

Are you currently accepting clothing donations?

✅ We sure are! We kindly ask that all clothing donations are clean and of good quality.

What donations do you accept?

We gratefully accept:

- All food donations (perishable and non-perishable) that are not outside of their use-by date

- Toiletries

- Bedding and towels

- Good, clean clothing only

- Shoes and toys

- We do not accept furniture

When can I drop off donations?

Donation drop-off times (please ring the front doorbell):

- Monday – Wednesday: 7:00am – 1:00pm

- Thursday – Friday: 8:30am – 1:00pm

- Monday – Saturday: 6:00pm – 8:00pm

⚠️ Please do not leave donations outside the front door outside of these times.

Can I volunteer with Mama Lana’s?

At this time, we are not accepting new volunteers. We appreciate your understanding and support. We recommend following our Facebook page for more updates regarding volunteer opportunities.
